A mad scientist waits for lightning to strike and bring his creation to life. A little boy climbs down a gargantuan beanstalk with a gilded egg in hand. A king whose touch turns things to gold begs only to hold his wife again. A witch rocks back and forth in a house with chicken feet. A blacksmith welds a soul-hungry devil to a tree. ╭ ──┉┉ •❈• ┉┉── ╮ 𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝐸𝑐ℎ𝑜 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ, 𝑎 𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑘𝑒𝑛. ╰ ── •❈• ── ╯ 📕 ~ Welcome, fairies & folks, to the Echoes, a series of worlds holding every fairytale, folktale, and story of myth together in one fantastical realm! Here you can find an expansive setting and a hand-crafted tabletop RPG system to use for it! You can play any character you please, as long as it's from some fairytale or fairtyale-related story! Be it Pinocchio, Dr. Frankenstein, Alice from Wonderland, Sun Wukong, Mother Goose, or anything of that sort. In this setting, we can experiment with the canons they come from-- change their backstories, mix their pasts together, depict them in a darker or more whimsical tone, whatever else! 📗 ~ The roleplay itself is an open-ended sandbox, where RPs can range from simple character interactions to fully fleshed-out campaigns run by clouders with plots and custom mechanics and intense fights! As the server grows, we'll also have serverwide events that may affect the whole setting in interesting and refreshing ways. 📘 ~ If you're interested in fairytales, folktales, and so on, but don't care much for the roleplaying aspect, or just want a fun server to hang out, we've got plenty of spaces for that! It's a new server, so our community may be small, but here's to hoping it can grow into something truly special.
