Tokyo Ghoul: Horizon

This server is AU. You don't need to be familiar with the original series. Even if you're not sure on the setting we'll be more than happy to help. --- Ghouls, humanoids that must devour human flesh to live, have existed all around the world for as long as people can remember. Throughout history, these creatures have influenced society in many ways. In the English city of Raipond, ghouls have been a constant nuisance and source of tension. AGIS, an organisation of humans which hunt ghouls, have continued to be the vanguard for humanity. In Raipond, their presence is keenly felt due to the higher rates of ghoul violence. Even after 'The War of Raipond' between AGIS and Ghouls ended there has still been tensions within the community. The past decade has been relatively peaceful, but now old and new enemies are making themselves known. AGIS is full of new blood who didn't experience the conflict that occurred a decade ago, and likewise many ghouls only know it through childhood memories or young adult life. Tension will only continue to mount, and it appears that new conflict is on the horizon. AGIS and the city survived before, but how will they fare now? --- Hello! Whether you're an old veteran of the Tokyo Ghoul community or someone who's never even heard of the series we'd love it if you gave us a try! Our goal is to create a friendly atmosphere and community and make a story together. While there is an overarching plot, the server itself is a sandbox and the events that occur and their resolution will be shaped by the community. Our goal is to provide a plot focused experience without any kind of grinding. We want the focus to be on character growth and not characters ranking up.
