And like shepherds to the herd, the population of vampires in the area has been growing slowly, but surely enough to make a difference. At first the locals had written it off as a coincidence; vampires were just folklore passed down by the earlier generations to scare unruly children that would sneak outside after dark. Though as the years went on and the deaths kept adding up, the higher ups in the town grew suspicious — leading up to the mass amounts of missing people the last couple of months. Armed with vervain, they're set in their ways to eliminate the vampires from Mystic Falls once and for all.
