North of the lands where the sun kisses the tides lies the Malan Region. Nestled within the sea of mountains and the coarse shore of the Opalite Ocean is the Kingdom of Malachor. A kingdom long sought after by generals and civilians alike. The home to many, but few, the harsh winters make for a difficult home for those faint of heart. With gusts of vengeful winds, the scent of bloodshed travels throughout the region as it is a land known for its military strength and prowess. Forever at war and drowned in a sea of snow, Malachor sits upon a throne of magical expertise as it houses only the most prestigious academia. Home of the Pendragon Mages Academy and Vandernacht Military Academy, a union would soon be born. Mages sworn to the binds of war fall into place within the ranks of the Bloodstone Guard, the most sought after group of knights ran by none other than the king himself, Viktor Vandernacht. Prior to his reign, he succeeded in leveraging the war and defeating many roots of it and creating peace-enough within the kingdom walls. The military now serves their alliances as well as the kingdom itself. Malachor is also known for its excess of gems, metal, and materials. Living upon vast caverns of ancient stones and jewels, mining is one of the main sources of wealth. Thus making Malachor a highly sought after kingdom for alliances and the likes. (Not to mention, no one dares to face their military blade.)
