Lockdown RP

In 1993, by the instruction of the Wilson County District Attorney's Office, Wilson County Police Department (WCPD) locked down the main road in and out of the county to prevent the spread of an unknown virus causing chaos and anarchy across the whole of Knox County and the surrounding areas. The roadblock held for a few months. At the start it was refugees from Knox County, looking for shelter. Towards the end, it became a blood bath. The police officers were armed with whatever they could take from their lockups. Shotguns, pistols, revolvers. That was all they could muster to hold the line. At the start, it was the odd one or two of the dead wandering in between the countless refugees they had to turn away from the roadblock. When the refugees stopped, it became one or two groups of the infected. Then there were waves and hordes coming from the main highway. Eventually it became too much. The hordes burst through the fences, routing the police officers, killing many of the defenders. Towns were overrun, people looting in the streets, cars overturned and on fire. The County he had served and protected collapsed within a matter of days. Contact could not be made with any of the emergency services that had been set up since the Knox County incident was first reported. At this point, it is safe to say the Government collapsed. No news traveled in or out of Wilson County during the lockdown. There was no way of knowing what happened to Knox County, or even the rest of the United States. The Wilson County Lockdown was in full effect. It accomplished nothing. You are a survivor. Trapped in Wilson County, a small county in Kentucky, south of Knox County. Your story is your own.
