MHA: Soul Mates uses a interesting plot. I have been roleplaying for many years off of discord and a popular romance idea was Soul Mates, when a person is born they are given a special marking to represent them. When they get closer to their soul mate this mark begins to glow. Many hunt down for their soul mate, some think the idea is just a myth, and some decide to take their own twist. In this world you have three types, Chasers people who are still searching, Deserters people who either don't believe or have given up on searching, and last you have the Lost which are people who's soul mates have died. For the Lost their marks may never light up again but some special cases have been documented. When a Lost is made it seems they truly define their own fate and two Losts can connect fixing their mark. The mark can also represent how someone is feeling with each mood or color showing their current status.
