Generations of “Warriors” have come and gone, having never known the glory of the clans. Now, without StarClan or even the Warrior Code, what are they but bands of rogues? It came suddenly; not even RiverClan cats were ready for the deluge, which swept away cats and prey alike. The dark clouds carried no mercy as the territories were flooded by seemingly endless rains. Families were torn apart as the clans were seemingly punished by the sharp claws and teeth of StarClan themselves. What was it that the clans had done to enrage their ancestors so? What could they possibly do to restore the love and mercy of StarClan? Medicine Cats sought the forgiveness of their ancestors as their clanmates drowned, starved, and fought to the death. With the current generation of cats, a routine has already been established. Some cats learn medicine; some cats are skilled and trusted and lead groups. Some cats exist alone. But tensions are rising as the prey is slowly returning. Greed and hate are coming to the surface, and claws are being unsheathed. The path of the warrior is difficult to walk.
