Owl House RP: Forgotten Magic

The Boiling Isles is a land of magic and wonder, while also being full of peril and tyranny. Filled with magical witches, demons, and everything in between, the Titan landmass has seen much prosperity. However, that isn’t without its cost. The mysterious leader and prophet of the Boiling Isles, Emperor Belos, leads his magical land with an iron fist, along with his coven system, a set of 10 magical covens that focus a witch’s magical ability to one of the covens, as he claims that wild magic, or magic that doesn’t use the coven system, is dangerous and against the wishes of the Titan, which will lead to a major event by the name of the “Day of Unity”. The covens include 9 regular covens and the Emperor’s Coven, which is the only coven that allows one to have the ability to use all forms of magic. Students chose a coven after attending classes, called tracks, and graduating school. Those who resist the coven system, known as wild witches, are ostracized from society, labeled as criminals against the nation, and, if hunted down, are either rehabilitated in the Conformatorium or petrified to stone in front of the entire nation. This has caused the majority of the population to support Belos and join a coven and put their witchings into coven tracks. Despite all of this, there are bits of the population who’ve become well known and well pulverized criminals in the Boiling Isles, including the recently created Bards against the Throne. Atleast, that's how most of you know the world. Lost legends and so called myths stir inside the Isles like a boiling cauldron. Tales of creatures and magicks lie in the oldest members of demon and witch society. Only the knowledge seeking or lucky few will brave the path into the past and pick up these new magicks, or befriend new species. The Demon Realm grows in depth even if the isle itself lies dormant.
