The Lore: Long ago there were 2 gods, the god of death and the god of life. They ruled in peace and harmony working together to uphold the balance of the world maintaining order. They were praised by the mortals of the world who worshipped them constructing vast temples of worship. There was great prosperity in this time of peace. Though that would all soon change as the 3rd god awoke. Forfall the God of Decay and Rot. He was the link, the forgotten bridge between the gods of life and death. He was jealous of his siblings so he constructed a masterful plan to consume the entire world in Decay. He was defeated with help from the god of fate and the god of time with their help his avatar was defeated and he was banished from the mainland. Society continued to advance under the guidance of the gods of life and death as fate and time went back to their ancient duties. All gods are celebrated in mass and most on this continent of Shikal worship a single or multiple gods. As time advanced so did technology and the practices of worshipping the gods. Though some did leave religion behind the gods respected their decisions. A grand academy was created in honor of the god of death a symbol that Decay would never win. Though during this time Forfall was spreading his influence of Decay into corrupt politicians and conflicts still keeping his influence so he would not fade into nothingness.
