** Welcome to Mass Effect: A Galaxy in Jeopardy, soldier!** **We are a small roleplay server with the goal of creating a friendly environment for new and experienced writers alike.** Our story takes place in the midst of the year 2184 CE, nearly two years after the legendary Commander John Shepard was killed in the attack that cost the Alliance the *SSV: Normandy.* With the loss of the great hero and near expert at the task of deactivating hostile Geth, Citadel space was left clueless of what lurked within their borders. Admiral Steven Hackett of the Systems Alliance soon came to the Council suggesting their forces collide once more in the form of what would eventually be dubbed, Project: GDF. Project: GDF would be composed of only the finest of soldiers and kept completely discreet to avoid public unrest. It would be an interspecies task force brought together with one primary goal: destroy any hostile Geth roaming Citadel space. Turian Captain Octavidas Cerul was placed at the head of this crew and given command of the *SSV: Byzantine.* The *Byzantine* and all members of Project: GDF are currently docked at the Citadel, awaiting further instructions.
