Inanis - Westmarches

The Collective Is Actively Seeking New Adventurers Hello, The Collective is a West Marches server set in the homebrew world of Inanis, and we're looking for new members! From a meta perspective, we do require that the members be 18+ (as there are adult themes-- though nothing overtly explicit) and that you use roll20. This server uses D&D 5th Edition and operates under persistent, real-time rules. If you're not sure what that means, don't worry. We are noob friendly with lot's of experienced players and DMs that are more than willing to help out. This server is also LGBTQ-friendly and*does not tolerate bigotry or bullying with rules that err on the side of inclusivity. We just ask that you respect each other and their limits. While there is plenty of gaming to be had, it's also worth noting that the server places heavy importance on roleplaying as well. If you just want to show up and throw some dice, that's fine too! You won't be penalized for not roleplaying. But, roleplaying can open up opportunities not otherwise available (both in-game and out). The games are generally episodic, but we also do global plotlines as well as periodic events that can be both game-based or just rp-based. The current overarching plotline involves dragons, which had been absent for millennia, suddenly returning. You can, of course, ask for a DM to run a persistent plotline as well, but that is entirely discretionary for all participants involved. Members can play if that's all they want to do, or you can also try your hand at DMing. You can also take some control over the development of the world and be in charge of one of the numerous regions of the world. Players start at level 2 and we have downtime, crafting, and additional rulesets (based primarily on RAW or rules as written) with tweaks for streamlining the process for this kind of gaming format.
