Dark Risings

Discovered in the early 1300 DR by Elminster, far across the reaches of the Toril Plane, a world sits much like Toril itself. And while they may share the same plane and the same stars dot their skies, the two worlds could not be more different. This world is known to the people as Rhia. A land lost to the ravages of time, where evil flourishes and the light of good slowly dwindles to nothingness in the darkness and despair, a single city has survived the waves of undead that swept across and massacred more than 98% of the living. But where there is life, where there is good, there is hope. Nearly a hundred and fifty years since the event now known as The Undead March, that single city has grown in size and in strength. The living have begun to reclaim what was once their world once again. Lands populated by all manner of creatures and plants, relics lost and waiting to be found once more, and places that haven't seen a living person since that fateful time all wait for you to come, explore and take what is rightfully your, by the tip of a pen or blade. Just be aware, the world is a cruel place, and the fight for survival is now a daily occurrence. Do you have what it takes to take what you deserve and become the pinnacle of humanity? Or will you perish to be forgotten in the annals of history? OOC: This server focuses on gritty realism and survival, as well as world building. The actions of the players and characters have the potential to shape the world around them. There is much history, yet the future is yet to be written.
