Crisis. The global order, which emerged after Germany’s stunning victory in the Second World War, is under siege. The rise of the American-led OFN, Italian Triumvirate and the burgeoning Sino-Soviet Communist International threaten to disrupt the once indisputable notion of Pax Germanica. Russia, following a devastating defeat and near-total systems collapse has descended into warlordism. The British and Italians both desperately fight to maintain their grip on crumbling colonial empires. The German Reich, after a decade of post war stagnation and political crisis, is finally picking up the pieces and returning to the global stage. And the United States fights to spread liberties which are denied to its own citizens. What will be the course of the latter half of the 20th century? Will humanity live to see the new millennium?
