INFECTION

August of 2018 is when the outbreak in America happened. It took only a few months for it all to go to shit. The military set up quarantine zones for the infection but as it got worse and the dead began to rise many abandoned their posts. Some zones are still up but hard to get into and they hoard supplies. Many cities were bombed to wipe out the zombies. Comms have been cut off besides some radio stations. Running water and electricity became rare. Have to make your own rigs anywhere outside of the zones. Everyone’s pretty much mad maxxing it. Gas doesn’t work, just tears apart engines. The zone has been making their own fuel, though. It works better than the expired gas you find in idle engines. A strange new illness has started to make its rounds and is taking lives with it, causing a new pandemic among survivors who are finally making things work.
