The salt lake contingency

A roleplay server set in a post-WW3 Utah. With numerous challenges for your character to overcome including bandits, radiation, military remnants, and anomalies. Lore: 2001 - THE START As tensions in the middle east would rise after the 9/11 terror attacks, the US would go boots on the ground in Iraq and later other parts of the middle east such as Syria. Fighting against both the Iraqi government and terror organizations of various kinds. This would cause overall tensions to rapidly rise. And nothing was better in other areas. In Afghanistan, the US would also deploy, and meanwhile, in Israel, several attacks would happen by Hezbollah and Hamas. Chaos was just brewing... 2009 TO 2020 - NUCLEAR IRAN AND HEIGHTENED TENSIONS In 2009, Iran's nuclear programme would rapidly develop, all the way until 2020, when they would successfully start producing nuclear weapons. This would only be discovered in late 2024. Too late at this point, as the middle eastern country would already produce a surprisingly large stockpile. Through those years, over 200 warheads were made. A surprisingly large stockpile. 2021 TO 2028 - WAR IN UKRAINE, WAR IN EUROPE As the war in Ukraine raged and later escalated to a full war between Russia and Ukraine, casualties outside of those two nations would eventually develop. In 2025, after several attacks on NATO nations by Russia, NATO would respond back with conventional long range attacks. Through two years of attacks similar to the trades of air strikes between Israel and Iran, thousands of civilians would perish, until a full on Russian and Belarusian attack into the Baltics would occur. This provoked NATO entirely, causing an invasion, and as NATO forces would come close to Moscow and St. Petersburg... 2029 - TOTAL WAR The US would get involved, a nuclear exchange would occur between the US, France, UK, Israel, and Russia, China, Iran, and so on. All out and total war would happen... Set in Utah!
