The Discord

This is an accessible, anarchist, queer, disabled space that is more tight-knit than most servers you will see on here. We practice trust, and have a main goal of building mutual aid networks among our members. This includes shared learning, like with reading groups, shared relaxation like with movie nights, and shared action like with our communal care where we design kits to use as a group and distribute. (Medical kits, and sewing kits, as examples.) This is a space that believes anarchists should focus on recruiting and building for oppressed people, not reactionaries. While there is education here, including on the basics of theory, we all never stop learning after all, we will not let reactionaries push out other people who need help for the sake of educating them. We have the discord bridged with a matrix space with the goal of making it resistant to outages and such. With accessibility our goal is to not just make it accessible for people who are currently involved, but to learn more accessibility tools so that we can be ready for those who may become involved in the future. We also do things like remove ableist language.
