Survivor's Stretch

Years ago there was a nuclear fallout. In the panicked efforts to preserve the earth humans captured animals from all over the world and brought them to one centralized place. Most of the humans died out, ecosystems all across the world were ruined and left dead and decimated, leaving the animals to adapt to their new environments and evolve on one of the few untouched and thriving islands left. Many animals mutated due to the radiation and bred, creating new species separate from where they started. Now, thousands of years later, the plates have shifted to form new islands and continents, ecosystems rearranged to where it is not uncommon to see a fox share a watering hole with a painted dog. The primary species of this new world is lions, African lions who survived the mutations, Mountain Lions brought in by humans during the start of the fall out, and Mutated lions who almost doubled in size from their ancestors, grew sharp tusks and claws, and developed intricate and elaborate patterns on their fur. Now these species are trying to survive, ruling over this untouched island called Survivor's Stretch.
