Spell and Bullet: A Great War is a roleplaying server that combines common fantasy concepts with the theme and overall atmosphere of World War 1. It takes place in a loosely mirrored variant of our own world, wherein the most crucial distinction stands to be: 'What if magic and mythical creatures existed?' Step into 1914, a time of escalating tensions and global conflict. Various nations, long at odds, are on the brink of war. The Great Teutonic Empire seeks to assert its dominance over the central regions of the Old Continent, while Unified Albionia and the Galladoran Republic brace for the inevitable. At Spell and Bullet, we offer a unique blend of 'sandbox' and gradual storytelling. Our lore is designed to be highly flexible, allowing for creative interpretations of historical events. A few key points: - We are a semi-literate to literate RP server. 'Fun' is at the core of it all. - No ERP, 16+. Many of our roleplay scenarios will include visceral and gruesome retellings of the First World War. - A friendly, non-political environment. The only politics we engage in are based on our Roleplay. We like our members to be cordial, relaxed, and to join for a good time. - Unlimited character slots. Because so many things were happening during this period, it would be sad if one had to abandon their 'Teutonic Empire' soldier in favor of a Communist revolutionary just because the lore put the latter in the spotlight for the duration of a campaign. - The server is currently in an 'open beta' phase, welcoming members to create characters, engage in intriguing pre-war Roleplay, and help contribute to the lore. Most groundwork has been completed, and the server is 'functional', but don't be scared off by the odd bug here and there!
