The Outward

Have you ever gone exploring? We all have. And we all reach a point where we turn back around and go home. But what if we kept going? The place we don't know of because of our hesitance -- this is the Outward. And it is closer to your world than you think. Your story surrounds a place called "The Hidden Institute" -- a university of sorts that teaches the ways of 'Coursers' -- or more commonly known as cryptid hunters. Imagine a truly timeless world, that's been living vicariously through our different historical eras! The en vogue fashion borderlines somewhere between conservative Colonial pilgrims and the romantic renaissance era. Perhaps you can draw some inspiration from one of the many characters you'll meet in the cast of your story.. But be warned. The fashion and people of the Outward aren't the only things that aren't simple. This is a dangerous plane -- and it dwells right around the corner. All of the things that come from campfire tales truly come from here. They bring with them curiosity, and above all else, danger. There's much more to learn, experience, and choose -- but let's leave those decisions up to you. I should really get going -- the scratching outside my window is getting louder
