Record Label DAO
❔ What is Record Label DAO? We're an artist launchpad backed by a decentralized record label that offers Initial Release Offering to the public. We want to offer the opportunity to invest in music. And help artists launch their music career through web3 + traditional media. 📍What is IRO? Initial Release Offering basically means that people will be able to acquire royalty percentages of a song before it’s released. Those who purchase % will benefit from the future royalties that song generates from streams & syncs. 🔍 Why a launchpad? The launchpad model gives a lot of flexibility to both artists & investors. - Artists join us on an individual release basis. So they're not tied to keep working with RLD in the future. - Music investors can diversify their music investment portfolio without the obligations of being in a long term partnership with any artist in particular. 💰 Where do the launchpad funds go? RLD will manage the funds of each launchpad release. The funds will go towards creating a promotional campaign (for the song) with the goal of providing the best ROI possible to artists & music investors. 🔑 How do artists & music investors claim their royalties? Music investors & artists will get an NFT that will represent the amount of royalties % they own. To cash out any profits they just have to connect their wallet (that holds the NFT) to our website & withdraw the money. The NFT holder can decide to sell their percentages on secondary market whenever they want. However, they should be mindful of claiming any profit on our website before selling the NFT (because they won't have access to the profits once the NFT is sold).
