The World of Nocturnus Year: 1856 If you are reading this, then you have intercepted the message from the messenger hawk upon the winds of time. There is a safe haven for all upon the horizon of the east. As you gaze upon the ridge, you will see signs of smoke, burning black as the flames are fed with nature’s own offering. The warmth and revelation of light upon those who require heat to survive, or for the simple pleasures of a noble in comfort. And once you rise to the top, the city that collects all will be at your feet, countless homes and a city of lights now gazing back. The city of Nocturne is merely one of the largest cities in the land of Nocturnus as it is used for its possible trade routes, thriving economy, and the royalty that resides upon the hill in Minerva Castle. It is said that many creatures take hold in the city, ranging from the normal humans, to the shadow born Vampires, the ravaging and brutish werewolves, to even those of the exiled celestials. The city holds no differences for its inhabitants. The economy in Nocturne holds either barters or by means of currency. The Bazaar holds so many items and favors, one may see it as a place of intelligence or for a place to start over. New name, new life. The city holds so many shops, ways of entertainment, and also the amount of blood. The royal bloodline within the city is made of vampires. The Falkenrath family have been around for centuries, leapfrogging through time as they take over to rule for one century. The Nobles are all pure-blooded as well, showing their true powers and only having selected members around for conversation, ruling of laws, and the occasional meeting with guests. The weather for Nocturne has been completely melded into overcast with a slight daybreak for the moon to illuminate the streets of its loyal city, giving the land its birthright of praising the moon. The sun is truly, out of sight and never around as the cause of it is blocked.
