Jujutsu Kaisen: Showdown Arc

Following the rich history of jujutsu past, sorcerers and curses alike had been largely unprepared for what has to come. The new era. It wasn't just new sorcerers, or heavy curses, it was an influx of cursed energy altogether. Curses and sorcerers popped up like wildfire, barely keeping the jujutsu world hidden. It is unclear if this influx was artificial, or an organic shift of the world. This shift wasn't affecting lower society. This effect shook all the way up to the clans as they tried to figure out what to do with all of the new introductions. Some saw an opportunity for control, and power. Some people saw a threat to the already existing system which the jujutsu society functions, hoping to protect it. Few completely embraced these changes, simply seeing it as the new way of things.
