(SFW) Ethereal 21+ Alt | Goth | Emo

I noticed a lack of servers geared towards all those that fall under the alternative umbrella, while also being specific to adults. A majority of the servers I've found either have minors, are for adults but mostly inactive, or are purely NSFW. To top it off, even though some of these servers were generally positive, there were elements of toxicity that I did not enjoy. So, I decided to create a server that was geared towards adults who would be free to discuss adult subjects, without feeling like they needed to watch what they say due to minors, while being free from ridicule for getting something wrong, and being able to have civilized conversations during disagreements. That said, there is a small NSFW portion, which REQUIRES ID verification, where the more raunchy and sexy content can be posted and discussed. This is a positive environment where everyone should feel welcomed and included, even if their journey through the alternative lifestyle has just begun and they're not sure where they "fit". Some of us started finding ourselves later on in life, while other started at a younger age. This is the place to connect and grow with each other. Labels suck in a general sense, but instead of labels being a box of constraint, I like to think of it as a field where we pick and choose what fits us, and to what degrees. Labels helps us identify ourselves and find communities that align with our beliefs and values, while allowing us opportunities to express who we are as individuals. No matter your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, what kind of alt, goth, or emo you are, this place welcomes you. We're all trying to find a sense of community and belonging, and I hope Ethereal can be that place for all of you
