The once-powerful United Kingdom is in economic ruin, struggling to maintain order, with internal violence erupting in Northern Ireland. In Europe, the Third Reich oversees a network of fascist-aligned regimes, with Vichy France, Belgium, and the Netherlands as puppet states. The Soviet Union lies shattered, its territories carved into Reichskommissariats, with Slavic populations oppressed or exterminated. Despite the Reich's dominance, internal power struggles brew among Nazi leaders, and the people, once intoxicated by victory, now live in fear of dissent. Italy controls much of the Mediterranean, but its grip weakens under rebellion in occupied territories. Japan’s empire stretches across Asia, with China firmly under its control, but resistance movements continue to resist beneath the surface. Meanwhile, the United States, remaining neutral during the war, stands alone in a world dominated by fascist powers. Facing a potential threat from both Germany and Japan, the U.S. grapples with whether to prepare for inevitable conflict or avoid it at all costs. Though the Axis have won, cracks are forming.
