The year 2080 dawns with upheaval and bloodshed in the neon streets of Night City, known coast to coast as a city of dreams and gangs. Tensions are rising between gangs across the city, leaving innocents in the crossfire as corporations sit and watch from their personal Mount Olympuses. A new mayor, Howard Rannigan, has come to office on promises to crack down on the criminal underworld but, with an underfunded and undermanned NCPD and morally bankrupt corporations unwilling to yield up potential catspaws and tools, those promises might end up ringing empty. Welcome to Cyberpunk: Nightfall. Forge an original OC to plunge into the expansive and immersive world of Night City for a character driven story in which you can rise all the way to the top or simply struggle to beat out an existence amongst this dystopian metropolis. Will you be a beleaguered lawman trying to bring stability and order; an opportunistic gangster looking to carve out territory or climb to the top of the food chain through violence, bribery, and coercion? Maybe you'll be an edgerunner - one of the few who beat out an existence doing whatever work comes your way? Perhaps you will be an affluent corpo wallowing in your own decadence and wealth, or will you be an average Joe trying to beat out an existence amidst rampant crime and corporate power struggles.
